So how many people know they are coming to the big brew? If you are coming, do you plan on brewing? We are just trying to get a handle on this event. Any feedback would be appreciated.
As for myself, I'm going. I'll be brewing in my monster system. I'm still not sure of which recipe I'm going to make. I may not brew one of the actual big brew recipes and instead go for for an IPA or tripple. If you plan on coming and not brewing. Bring a fermenter, I may be able to give you five gallons of my unfermented wort for yourself. I want ~15 gallons for myself and may end up making 25 gallons of wort.
Also, I'm bring donuts for the morning and some chips to snack on.
See you all Saturday!

Thanks Keith!
Big thanks to Keith and his hosting of TRASH's Big Brew. I hope to get my photos up soon.
Count me in!
I'm planning on being there to take notes/photos for the newsletter. If anyone needs any help I'm available.
Big Brew Updates
Thanks Peter!!
A couple of updates before the big day.
• I secured an overhead shade/rain tent for Peter’s big system. If it is hot, it will guard us from the sun, if it rains, it should keep the rain off. :)
• Extra fold out tables and chairs are still needed. My fold out table will be in used and the space on it will be used up pretty quickly
• If anyone thinks they may need additional coverage (for example, if Armand bring his 3 tiered keg model, then please bring additional tents and overhead (or tarps and rope to connect to the main tent).
• As a reminder, everyone is encourages to bring a breakfast item (My wife is making a French Toast casserole for the morning hours.
• Lunch will consist of Burgers and Dogs, you’re welcome to bring your own food items and cook on my grill, and you welcome to substitute a lunch side dish (baked beans, coleslaw, etc.) instead of a breakfast item. If it looks we need additional food, someone can always make a run to the Crafton Ingram Giant Eagle (<1 mile).
• As if I had to remind anyone, everyone is encouraged to bring homebrew!!!!!
• As an additional reminder, everyone is encouraged to bring all types of brewing supplies (buckets, adjuncts, etc. (even if you are not planning on using them in your brew, another member may find themselves needing an ingredient. You may be able to work a deal out a swap (fresh wort for hops, exchanges, etc.)
• In the case of “emergency supplies”, South Hills Brewing is only 2 miles.
• There’s no set ending time!! My place is open until everyone gets done.
We’ll see ya Saturday !!!!
