Ingredients:
5 gal water
6 lbs. North Western Gold LME
1.25 lbs Pilsner DME
1 lb. crystal malt, 10° L
1 lb flaked corn
2 oz. Northern Brewer hops
2 oz. Kent Goldings hops
2 oz Cascade hops
2 pacs Safale US-56 yeast
1 tablet WhirlFlock
Step by Step:
* Add grains (in bag) to 2
gals. cold water.
* Slowly bring to 160° F.
* Remove grains after 30 min
* Bring liquid to boil
* Add 3 lbs LME & Northern
Brewer hops
* Boil for 30 minutes*
*.Add 3 lbs of LME boil 10 min
* Add DME and Kent Goldings
* Boil 18 minutes add Cascade
* Total boil is 60 minutes.
* Remove from heat and cool.
* Add water to make 5 gals.
* Pitch 2 pacs yeast.
* Prime with corn sugar.
* Rack twice before kegging.
