I got this email from a guy from TRUB, let myself or Tom know if you are interested. I'm thinking of getting one myself. Would be quite nice to have a 15 gallon conical for under $250.
"I am a member of Three Rivers Underground Brewers, and we are putting together
a Stainless Steel Conical order from Toledo Metal Spinning. If our two
clubs go together on an order we can get a substantial discount over a single
order price. I plan on driving up to get them, so we also will eliminate the high shipping costs.
The size we are looking at is the 14.7 gallon hoppers, because the price difference between this
and the 12.2 is quite small, and the extra head room will be needed for 10 gallon
batches.. Here are the links to the hopper and lids.

If you could see if there is any interest in TRASH at your next meeting, let me
know, and we will put together an order. NOTE: this is just for the conical and lid,
everyone will still need to weld a nipple on the bottom to accommodate a valve
assembly. Also McMaster-Carr is supposed to have a silicone seal that will
fit these conical. Even with the cost of the valves, and welding these on,
the cost will still be less than 1/2 of what these are currently selling for.
