Hi,
First, let me introduce myself. I've been brewing for 8 yrs and made the switch to AG about 6 months ago. Since then, I've been brewing every 3-4 weeks. I haven't been to a meeting, but I like to look around the site and see what is going on. I submitted a beer to the recent competition but was unable to attend the banquet.
Since I switched to AG, my goal has been to get the process down, dialing in the numbers, etc. Now that I have that part down, I want to explore water chemistry. I've been using tap water. I live in the Peters area, serviced by Pennsylvania American Water. Does anyone have a water analysis report that they won't mind sharing? The report on their website doesn't list the ions needed by Palmer's spreadsheet.
Thank you,
Javier
I would contact the water
I would contact the water authority for your area. They should be able to get you one easy, might even be on their website. Worst case scenario www.wardlabs.com you can test it for you. Tom Bosak brought that to my attention, seems pretty sweet.
