For those who may have missed this on Facebook:
Mt. Lebanon is looking for some homebrewers to be involved in their second annual Winterfest. Let me know if anyone in TRASH might be interested in participating and pouring your beers.
Info below:
The Second Annual Mt. Lebanon Winterfest is set for Saturday, February 23rd from Noon -3p in Clearview Common (Uptown Mt. Lebanon). Over a dozen Mt. Lebanon Restaurants competed in 2012 to earn "best chili in Mt. Lebanon" bragging rights. We expect more of the same in 2013. The event is co-sponsored by the Mt. Lebanon Partnership and Mt. Lebanon Relay for Life. Most proceeds are donated to Relay.
New in 2013 is the addition of some of Pittsburgh's finest homebrewers pouring samples of their craft beers to compliment the chili offering. Expect a similar friendly round of "best of" for the brews as well.
This year's event will be billed as "hometown chili and home brewed beers".
Mt Lebanon would like to request commitment from 6–8 homebrewers by January 13 if at all possible.
Participating merchants in the event (more to be added soon):
Rania's, Primanti's, Walnut Grill, Cafe Io, Bado's, Pizza Badamo, MTL Police, MTL Fire
Questions and concerns can be directed to Eric Milliron at Mt Lebanon Municipality: Voice - 412.343.3412 - emilliron@mtlebanon.org.
Brewers can register to participate via Eric (emilliron@mtlebanon.org) or Daniel Pipitone (dpipitone@gmail.com).
