I talked to Sam at Vivo's and, as expected, it will be tough for him to fit us in on a Friday/Saturday, but he would love to have us on a Wednesday/Thursday night in his party room downstairs. A Sunday get-together could also be possible, but since the Steelers are playing every Sunday afternoon in December, I shied away from that.
I was hoping to get a feel from the club at the Bocktown meeting but, since that didn't happen, I'm asking for input now. Most of the individuals that I've talked to would be up for a Thursday night party (perhaps Dec. 4 or 11). Let me know your thoughts, and if there is a date that works better than another. If it turns out that the sentiment is to keep it on a weekend, I'll need someone to find a place and date for it.

For those Thurs eve dates, Dec 11 would work better for me, personally.
I liked Sam's basement...the room had a nice vibe. And I'm sure the food would be outstanding!

Christmas Dinner
I think a week night could work, it may fit better with some schedules since this is a busy time of year, of couse there will be those who can not make it, but we are always going to have that. If we do this, I think it's important to get the date announced as soon as possilbe so everyone can plan for this, and we should know up front how much the dinner will cost each person. Most members don't mnd paying a little more for the Christmas dinner, but if it's going to be over $20/person some may not want this. I guess we could hold off to vote on this at the Nov meeting, if it doesn't work we don't have much time to find anyplace else.

Yo. I think a Thursday at Vivo would be swell. I would personally like to avoid a Wednesday party because I have an evening class, but of course we can't base the club's schedule on my own. So, do what you gotta do. But yeah Thursday=cool.
