Mark your calendars for Saturday, July 11th, Noon–dusk as we gather at North Park (Avalon shelter) for a day of fun, food, and friendly competition! This joint picnic is for both TRASH and TRUB, and is also open to family and non-members. An RSVP form will be sent out closer to the picnic to help plan food and supplies.

What to Expect:

• Potluck & Grill Out
  The clubs will provide a variety of grilled meats/patties and buns for all attendees. Members are encouraged to bring sides or desserts to share—just be sure to bring whatever you need to serve your dish. Electricity is available at this shelter if needed (e.g., for crockpots).

• TRASHy Award Mini Competition
  Enter your best beer, cider, or mead and compete for the TRASHy award!

  • Open to all due-paid TRASH members (one entry per member).
  • Keg entries are encouraged based on tradition, but growlers, cans, and bottles are welcome.
  • This will be a self-serve event—just make sure your entry is ready to pour and stays cold.
  • Each entry will be assigned a number for ticket voting.
  • All attendees age 21+ will get a ticket for voting.

• Games
  Expect some classics like cornhole and bucket golf. Feel free to bring your own favorite games to share with the group!

The picnic is free to attend for current due-paid members of TRASH or TRUB, and $10 for any guests/non-members (family/kids are welcome). Feel free to bring other beers to sample, just like a regular meeting. Some coolers and ice will be provided, but BYO coolers are also welcome.
