- If you purchased Cider, remember pick-up is tomorrow.
- Due to scheduling conflicts, there will be NO October TRASH Meeting.
- The November TRASH meeting is Saturday, 2 November, at the 412 Brewery behind Pizza Ranchini in McKees Rocks. TRUB members are also invited.
- That’s National Homebrew Day and we will be brewing a Stout. Sean Kinneas provided guidance, so it will be gold medal quality.
- Wort is $10 for 5 gallons and 15 shares are available.
- Signup will be available within the week.
- We will have a Stout tasting at the Holiday Party (7 December @ Spoonwood).
- This is a good meeting to invite a friend who’s “on the border” about brewing. Get them to buy some yeast and a fermenting bucket….
- According to our by-laws, nominations for this year’s officer elections (Vice President and Secretary) occur at the October meeting with elections coming in November and installation in December.
- The current officers have agreed to accept nominations by e-mail until October 26th.
- Terms are 2 years.
